I would begin by defining the market, geographic scope, target customers, business objective, required data, and time period. I would then identify credible sources such as government databases, industry reports, company publications, and recognized research organizations.
I would use AI to organize the research, summarize documents, identify common themes, and compare findings. However, I would verify important statistics and claims against the original sources before presenting the conclusions.
02 How would you summarize a long report without losing important information?
I would first identify the audience and purpose of the summary. I would ask the AI tool to organize the report into major themes, findings, evidence, risks, limitations, and recommendations instead of requesting a general summary.
I would then compare the generated summary with the report’s executive summary, conclusions, tables, and key sections. For high-impact information, I would confirm the wording and figures directly in the source.
03 How do you verify whether an AI-generated citation is accurate?
I would locate the original source using the author, title, publication, date, and document identifier. I would confirm that the source exists and that it contains the claim attributed to it.
I would also review the surrounding context to ensure the AI has not changed the meaning. If the source or claim cannot be verified, I would remove it or clearly mark it as unverified rather than present it as fact.
04 How would you compare two versions of a policy document using AI?
I would label both versions clearly and ask the AI tool to compare them section by section. I would request a structured table showing additions, removals, modified wording, affected stakeholders, potential impact, and areas requiring clarification.
After receiving the comparison, I would manually review high-impact changes in the original documents. I would then prepare a concise change summary for the relevant stakeholders.
05 What would you do if two reliable sources presented conflicting information?
I would compare the publication dates, research methods, sample sizes, definitions, geographic scope, and intended purposes of both sources. The conflict may result from different methods or contexts rather than one source being incorrect.
I would document the disagreement, explain the possible reasons, and avoid forcing a single conclusion when the available evidence does not support one.
06 Can you upload confidential company documents to a public AI tool?
I would not upload confidential information without confirming the organization’s policies, approved tools, access controls, retention settings, and data-processing terms. I would also check whether personal or regulated information is included.
If an approved secure environment is unavailable, I would remove or anonymize sensitive information, use a safer internal process, or complete the analysis manually.
